TECHNICAL PROGRAMME                                        

Technical papers have been invited in the following areas;

• Reductions in the consumption of natural resources and energy
• Health issues related to the production and use of cement and concrete
• New possibilities for the cement and concrete industry related to increased attention to a more sustainable society
• Life cycle assessments, durability and environmental accounting
• Emissions and leaching
• Energy storage - use of concrete for enhanced energy efficiency of buildings
• Waste handling
• Recycling and re-use of concrete and binder materials including industrial by-products
• Use of cement for solidification and stabilization of various materials and hazardous wastes
