International Conference on Sustainability in the Cement and Concrete Industry

Following the publication of the UN report “Our common future” in 1987 the term “sustainable development” has caused a shift of paradigm in cement and concrete research worldwide. The definition “a development that meets our needs without compromising future generations' abilities to meet their needs” will in this conference focus on the cement and concrete industries’ contributions to the fundamental issues: energy, emissions and resources.
